puppies
And spring are my two favorite things right now. Last night I went to a cookout and ended up staying there with just 3 other people. I bonded with them pretty well…and as random as it was, it was wonderful.
I love not having a set plan for the night, but having plenty of options. The night just flowed. So fun. We ate, drank, i played with a pet bunny rabbit and we chatted and played games. It was good.
Then I left there and went to another friend’s place and stayed there for a while. The evening was grand. yesterday was a wonderful spring Friday…and I’m in love.
This morning I woke up and went to an event to do an assignment. I walked through campus on the way back and just took in the beauty. Everything is in bloom and the pollen is so much that it is turning the cars yellow. Its not doing good things for my allergies, but it is wonderful to look at.
I noticed so many changes…and I appreciate how much better EVERYTHING is when the weather is nice and things are alive. Spring is soooooo much better after a rough winter. This could be my favorite spring ever! seriously!
There is so much life and energy and I love it.
This afternoon I went with Xana to pet doggies at the pet store and then we got Chinese food. I am in my room right now chilling and trying to get some stuff done while she and Jummons go watch a movie. It is the Athens Film Fest this weekend – so plenty of options.
I am going to go back to Midge this evening and chill. I am going to bring the lappers to chill and hang out and such. should be fun. but, I have so much to do. I am happy about it though.
GO and enjoy spring. That’s all for now.

I don’t normally brag, but…
I don’t normally send out e-mails to brag about myself…but this is kind of a big deal. Too big not to pass along. Hope you find it interesting.
Today (Wednesday) I was sitting in our newsroom here at school working my regular shift at WOUB News. I knew that the newsroom had been dedicated yesterday and was aware that Roger Ailes was in town. However, I figured that by the time that I would get in there today, he would no longer be around…although we were advised to look nice and be prepared for his appearance at any time.
So…I was sitting at my computer station working on a story and preparing for my newscast when all of the sudden, Roger Ailes just walked in and sat next to me. The dean of my college was also there and were both sitting RIGHT next to me. There was a large posse with him, but he was right next to ME. I went about my business and tried not to be too shocked that such a huge name was right there. Eventually we all introduced ourselves to each other and he just sat and watched all of us work and carried on conversations with the newsroom staff for a good 30-45 mins. I couldn’t believe it.
Now, you all know that I am a CNN junkie…and haven’t been a huge fan of FOX News. I still remain a CNN fan, but I have to be appreciative of what Roger did for us here at OU and Scripps. Our new newsroom is amazing and such a tool for me. I’m really glad that he donated the funds that ultimately helps further my education.
Anyhow, here are a few links for you to check out regarding this story:

Spring time
Is here!!!! I am sooo happy. I have been making some significant changes in my life recently to change the way I operate. It has helped a lot with my depression problem. So, now for the most part, I am feeling better. I am happy again…and enjoying the weather. Nature is absolutely amazing right now, and I am glad that I am able to get out, walk to class every day and enjoy the sights and sounds. Amazing.
This past weekend was one that was better than most I have had for a long while. It really cheered me up.
I am back in the busy stage of my life…and after this week I will be busy non-stop until the end of the quarter. That;s a good thing cuz it will keep me occupied and make the time go by. I can’t wait.
I am cheered up again, happy, and enjoying everything again.

I think I am…
depressed. I am always bored and lonely. and this is a problem. I crave social activities, fun, friends, and adventuring. However, it rarely happens. So I dunno… I need to either be more assertive in my current actions and friendships, or find more people to hang with, new friends, people who are willing to go OUT and do things…or… I think I may actually need to see a doctor about my problem. I hate being miserable all the time. And I think if i were to get help and maybe medication for it, that my overall life and happiness would be much higher, etc. I dunno…we’ll see.
